DAVE CARLEY - Writer
Dave (Toronto, ON) is a leading Canadian Playwright and Radio Dramatist whose works have been produced across Canada and the United States, as well as many countries around the world. His drama Orchidelirium premiered at Toronto's Factory Theatre in 2004 and received three Dora nominations, including one for Best New Play. In April 2006 CBC TV aired Dave's homage to poet Al Purdy, Yours Al starring Gordon Pinsent. He also authored the sold-out hit of the 2007 Toronto Fringe, Conservatives in Love. Carley has been Playwright in residence at the Stratford Festival, Massachusetts' Barrington Stage Company, Shaw Festival and the London Public Library. Most recently at CBC Radio Arts and Entertainment (Toronto) Carley was Script Editor, Series Editor and dramaturge for various national syndicated radio drama programs including, Morningside Drama, Sunday Showcase and Monday Night Playhouse. At the New York International Radio Festival his radio dramas Test Drive won a Bronze medal with Big Box winning Gold. Dave was also co-producer of the radio drama Losing Paradise which won a Gold Medal Award for Best Drama Special at the New York International Festival along with BBC Radio (England) and ABC Radio (Australia). Dave wrote the audio drama "Running to Detroit" especially for Voices In The Wind - Audio Theatre.

JULIE HOVERSON - Writer/Producer/Actor
Julie (Seattle, WA) is a woman of mystery. And sometimes of horror. And often of comedy. She writes and produces the Mark Time award-winning podcast 19 Nocturne Boulevard (honored specifically for episodes "The Outpost" in 2008 and "The Rookie" in 2009), as well as serials ‘Bingo the Birthday Clown' and ‘The Deadeye Kid'. When asked how she manages it all and still sleeps, she replies "what is this thing called 'sleep", earthling?" Julie wrote the audio drama ‘The House on Mulberry Hill' for Voices In The Wind - Audio Theatre.

MARSSIE MENCOTTI - Voice Over Artist/Actor
Marssie (Chicago, IL) has a background of nearly 20 years in marketing, new business development, promotions and media sales, mainly in Chicago radio with WFYR-FM, WKQX-FM, WJMK-FM and as Creative Director for Clear Channel Chicago's Marketing arm, Chancellor Marketing. She is a tenured faculty member in the Radio Department at Columbia College Chicago. Marssie has over eight years of experience in teaching improvisation, voiceover, writing for audio, and radio marketing, as well as directing, copy-writing and producing. Additionally, Marssie has many years of acting experience in plays, film, and commercials (most recently of which was Wrigley Eclipse Gum TV and radio campaign) along with improv at Second City in Chicago and has received Jeff nomination citations for "When the Walls Have Ears," and "The Shadow." She received the Communicator's Crystal Award of Excellence for directing audio drama with the National Audio Theatre Festivals. Marssie was in the RZM Creative / Design Sound Productions co-production of "My Three Grandmothers".

GREGG RAINWATER - Voice Over Artist/Actor
Gregg (Los Angeles, CA ) is perhaps best known for his role as Buck Cross on the ABC television series the Young Riders. His other TV credits include a guest appearance on Walker Texas Ranger and a reoccurring role on Days of Our Lives. Gregg is also an accomplished audio drama actor having performed in several productions for Bargain Basement Productions which aired on National Public Radio in the US. Gregg was the co-lead in "Every Now And Then".

BARBARA ROSENBLAT - Voice Over Artist/Actor
Barbara (Manhattan, NY) is one of the most sought-after narrators of audio books with fans worldwide. She has been honoured with five coveted Audie Awards and twenty-seven Earphone Awards. Barbara was named one of the "Golden Voices" and a "Voice of the Twentieth Century". Billboard Magazine said, "Rosenblat is spoken of with the same respect and affection that the music industry holds for Frank Sinatra and the Beatles." An amazing range of dialects and characterizations inspired one critic to say Rosenblat 'is to audio books what Meryl Streep is to film'. She has recorded over 400 titles to date, and has appeared on Broadway in the Tony-Award-winning musical "The Secret Garden" as well as shows in London's West End. Barbara recently appeared on Broadway in "Talk Radio" starring Tony- Nominated actor Liev Schreiber and the off Broadway show 27 Rue de Fleurus. Barbara has also appeared in films and the TV show Law and Order. Barbara was in the RZM Creative / Design Sound Productions co-productions of "My Three Grandmothers" and "The Shadow of the Shapeshifters".

LAURA VAN VEEN - Actor
Laura (Guelph, ON) grew up in Chatham ON, and was always involved in the arts throughout the community. After graduating with a diploma in Musical Theatre Performance from St. Clair College in Windsor, Laura went on to work for CKSY Radio for two consecutive summers as part of their on-air Summer Patrol Team. During this time she also directed and produced three shows with her own theatre company Oxygen Productions. "Kaleidoscope", "Dinner on Broadway", and "Know People Like Show People", all performed to nearly sold out theatres, and "Know People Like Show People" went on to the 1st International Windsor Fringe Festival where it received a Patrons Pick Award. Laura then moved up the road to Guelph Ontario where she taught acting with the Great Big Theatre Company, and currently teaches Vocals and Piano at Yamaha's Children's Music Academy. Other Acting Credits include; Girls in the Gang, A St. Clair Christmas, The Pajama Game, Jaque Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, Cinderella, Grease, West Side Story, Annie, Pippin, and Carousel. To date Laura has performed in two productions for Voices In The Wind - Audio Theatre, "A Christmas Carol" and "Shadow of the Shapeshifters".

GEORGE ZARR - Producer/Writer/Director/Composer/Actor
George is an award winning Writer/Producer/Director/Composer based out of Manhattan, New York. He was most recently at Sirius Satellite Radio, where he was Manager of Spoken Word Programming/Executive Producer. For the SCI- FI Channel Seeing Ear Theatre "Tales from the Crypt" he was the Senior Producer involved in more than 40 audio drama programs directing such stars as Tony Danza, John Ritter and Brian Dennehy just to name a few. He was also Co-Writer/Producer/Director of the National Public Radio/Dove Audio-distributed comedy series "Visit New Grimston, Anyway" and the international award-winning "Little Chills" horror series both in the collection of The Museum of Television and Radio in New York City. George wrote, composed and directed the Off Broadway sketch comedy "Mind Floss" and directed the chamber opera "Who's on Faust?" for the American Chamber Opera Company. He was Director and Dramaturg of "The Cost of a Life" which received the NFCB Golden Reel Award and the National Broadcast Society First Place Award in Audio Drama. His Commissioned work for solo harp, "Walking up Broadway", premiered at Carnegie Hall. George's additional honours include a Grand Prize from the New York Songwriters Competition and awards from the American Song Festival and the Music City Song Festival and International Radio Festival, New York City. George has been involved with Design Sound Productions/Voices In The Wind  - Audio Theatre for the past seven years. The productions include; "Every Now and Then", "School Spirit", Voices In The Wind Audio Theatre Production and Performance Workshop, "A Christmas Carol", "My Three Grandmothers" and "The Shadow of the Shapeshifters".
